We don’t go out on New Years Eve either. Too many crazies out on the road. We also watch all the specials on TV and eat appitizers for dinner like vegetables and dip and chips with 7 layer dip and our favorite wines.

Hi Jenn,
It’s hard to cook and do the things you need to do on Christmas at home in dressy clothes. I usually don’t wear my normal jeans and comfy clothes, but try to wear some nicer pants and top. Although, I don’t usually wear an apron, this day is good to keep those “in between clothes” clean in the kitchen.

Sounds yummy, but a bit labor intensive
I like to use unsweetened cocoa in my recipes. It nor only tastes good but is bood for you and canbe easily adapted for different diets

It almost feels like something has died. I for one will say Merry Christmas to anyone I happen to engage at this time of year. I won’t let other people’s choices take mine away. Why should someone else feel bad because I celebrate my beliefs. I love the idea of celebrating traditions from other cultures, it’s a great learning experience for kids. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

When I was going to school we always had the week before and the week after Christmas. It seemed like that was perfect. I wonder why they’ve changed it. And, in those days it was Chritmas vacation and we had decorations and we talked freely about Christmas - it’s kind of sad these days.

Does anyone ever send cards to nursing homes.They really appreciate the mail. If you do not want to mailthe cards, just drop them off for the staff to distribute
