The life that we live

Well I called the insurance company yet again and I sat on hold for about 15 minutes ( this time I didn’t keep exact times because I knew it would piss me off more) and after someone finally answered my call they told me I called the wrong freaking number. It was the number the insurance company gave me yesterday!!!! Instead of transfering me they told me to hang up and call 1-866- go screw yourself number. Or at least that’s what it felt like. I called the second number and waited several minutes before they even picked up to only be put on hold a second time. When someone finally got on they took my information and once again told me I had called the wrong number but at least this time they transfered me to the appropriate line, or so I thought. I get there and they answer the call fairly quickly, much to my amazement. The lady on the other line is trying desperately to calm me down because by this time I am crying and frustrated. She tells me that the doctor never sent in the preauthorization. Well I know that is complete bullshit because the guy I spoke to yesterday gave me the exact date the preauth was sent in so someone doesn’t have their ducks in a row. I’m no longer crying by then and I am fuming. I’m ready to tell her off while she goes through her whole speal about what needs to be done and blah blah blah. I have to have a whole other pre authorization filled out and sent. Well this poses a whole new problem because now my doctor is on vacation for the next three weeks. UGHHHHH!!! I called the doctor’s office hoping that the doc on call can take care of this but from what I understand the doctors on call will not take care of medication related things when it’s a new med. Now I have to wait the extra three weeks and hope I don’t crash in that time because I have been in a pretty steady state of manic for about a week and a half now. So that is my story and what’s going on with this ridiculous episode with the insurance company.

I can’t stop thinking about this and I just have to say that it’s bull shit that guys aren’t considered sluts when they sleep around. It also pisses me off that it isn’t politically correct for a guy to be celibate unless he is a priest or something ridiculous like that. What guys aren’t allowed to take a break from all of the slutting around that they are supposed to be doing, grrr! What if a guy was in a relationship for a long time and they just broke up? What then guys? Do you do what is expected of you and jump the next piece of meat that will allow it? Or do you take a break and let your head get right again? Me I’d jump the next piece of meat that would let me, JUST KIDDING!!! Ok well that’s my two cents and I’m stickin to it. LOL

You want to know what’s bull shit? I have been single for several years now and that means I have not had sex in several years. If I was a man that would NOT be ok. Men are allowed to go and sleep with as many women as they want whenever they want and it’s ok, but if I were to go around sleeping with whomever I wanted I would be a slut. Well what the hell? It’s such crap I can’t stand it. See it’s not normal for a woman to go out and have sex with strangers, even if it only happens once in awhile because then they are not good girls any more. How ridiculous. So what do I think? I think that if I am single and I feel like have well protected but one night stand sex, I would go for it. What do you think?
