The life that we live

Tis the season for Christmas and holiday parties. I feel obligated to go to all that I am invited to even if I don’t particularly want to go. It is customary to bring something with you when you come to a party so my big items are cookies and or fudge. I don’t do wine because I don’t drink and that seems like a silly gift from someone who can’t drink. I like making homemade goodies so the fudge or the cookies are just wonderful. If it is going to be a party where there are going to be kids the cookies are a must, or candy if I have the patience to make it. If it’s going to be adults I do the fudge, for some reason that seems to be a big hit with adults. Maybe it’s more of a “grown up” treat than the cookies, I don’t know.
