Ok My Doctor’s Office Is A Life Saver

Published by laydecker at 10:15 am under Things that make me go uhhhhh Edit This

Well the whole thing with the insurance company has had me all worked up the last couple of days, but I’m finally getting some where. My doctor is on vacation as I said before but I finally got a hold of a nurse that works for the medical group my doctor is a part of. She is going to call in the pre authorization so that I don’t have to keep waiting for the prescription. Unfortunately they don’t have any samples of the medication so I still have to wait for the authorization from the insurance company but the nurse called the insurance company immediately after she sent in the request to make sure they knew that she knew they got it. That will get rid of any crap from them saying they didn’t get it. I’m so glad she did this for me. I don’t know if this is something she is expected to do or not and I don’t care, I’m just glad she did it for me. My doctor and his employees are wonderful. I like all of them, they are always friendly and seem genuinely concerned about the patients. They treat me like a friend, not like a number or pay check. I wish all doctors were like mine.

    Jenn,
So glad you didn’t give up and you are that much closer to getting the medication you need.
Just consider that I will buzz you or stumble you or both every day I can get here to see your blog, which should be almost every day.
My husband has has first doctor’s appt this afternoon since his surgery. So, I will be tied up and may not get any writing done until tonight - unless I’m too tired.
    Talk soon,
    Karen
