The life that we live

Ok so yesterday I told you my son wants to go to military school? Well I got a hold of the school today and got some info. You have no idea all the shit he needs to go. He needs uniforms both dress and BDU’s. I didn’t even know what those were until today. They are the like camo type cloths, only these are just plain green. I have to get him an army jacket (very expensive!!) and I have to get him boots. The boots are expensive also but that is definitely a necessity. He also has to have dress shoes t-shirts and black socks (which he doesn’t already have) SO this shit is adding up!! The clothing alone costs approximately $250. OUCH!! Then there is the cost to register him and get his books and it’s two hours away so I have to pay two seperate bus fee’s. One for public transportation the other for their bus to come the other hour and a half to pick him up. SO that comes to another$110. Then of course just because my son decided he wants to do this my daughter wants to also. UGHH she is just going to have to deal with public school for now. So it’s going to cost me an arm and leg to get him in and trying to find that kind of money when I’m on social security is going to be a pain in the ass!!! I may just be saving up and waiting until next year to send him. I know he really wants to do this. It’s really important to him but holy crap!!! I don’t spend this much on cloths a year for all of us. I also have to come up with an additional $40 a month for transportation and some other fee. I don’t know what that is but hey why not add another fee to me? Why not? Ok so what is the grand total for all of this? Lets figure it out.. It’s about $250 for the cloths, and $110 for start up costs SO that’s $360 to start and an additional $40 a month for transportation, oh and don’t forget the extra money for the public transportation I think that is $36 but I’m not sure. UGH $360 is A LOT of money to me. I hate that there are people out there that think nothing of that kind of money and because I am unable to work that could be the difference between whether we have a home or whether we eat for the month. If I just took that money out of my monthly income we would have to go with out paying all of my utilities and spend $100 less in food. Ya like I can afford that! SO I will keep you all posted on how I do with all of this and whether or not we are waiting until next year. Maybe I can pull it off if we get money for christmas and I add in the money I make from the blog. I forgot about that, it will help much!! That is a minimum of $60 a month with endless possibilities to make more. So maybe that will get me through for my son. I am going to really try. UGHH it pisses me off that it’s so expensive for him to go to SCHOOL!! I guess I shouldn’t complain, it’s nothing compared to what college is going to cost.
